I have heard many people say that appearance, clothing and visual presence shouldn’t matter and to a certain extent I would agree.  However if we subconsciously make a decision or impression within 7 seconds of laying eyes on someone, image matters when referring to visual presence.  Simply put, humans are visual creatures and unlike most animals we rely on sense of sight.  Therefore our personal image, our business cards, social media pictures, flyers, pamphlets etc. matter.
